The Opportunity
Playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our production processes, this position supports everything from supplier management and quality tracking to logistics coordination. Reporting directly to the Product Director, you’ll take a hands-on approach to tracking production schedules, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining seamless communication between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
You’ll collaborate closely with our supply chain, warehouse, product, merchandising, allocations, and finance teams to streamline operations and drive efficiency, ensuring every product arrives on time, to our quality standards, and in line with global regulatory and sustainability requirements (including REACH).
The Core Responsibilities

Production Management & Scheduling
* Oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring product is delivered on time, to standard and within agreed budgets.
* Own the production critical path, tracking milestones, anticipating challenges, and resolving issues before they impact delivery.
* Book all factory manufacturing slots in line with forecast volumes and timelines.
* Issue and manage bulk purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and compliant.
* Negotiate final buy prices in accordance with confirmed orders.
* Monitor and problem-solve throughout the production process, maintaining close communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Supplier & Supply Chain Management
* Take ownership of the supply chain, managing onboarding, partnership agreements, and ongoing supplier relationships.
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure x-factory dates are achieved and expectations are met.
* Set up and manage the bulk intake tracker, coordinating inbound shipments with logistics, warehouse, and finance.
* Conduct supply chain analysis and drive continuous improvement actions.
* Organise factory visits, audits, and compliance assessments as required.
* Maintain detailed supplier records, including contracts, lead times, and delivery performance.
* Gather and analyse supplier performance data, providing insights and recommendations to the Product Director.
Quality, Compliance & Sustainability
* Ensure all materials and finished products comply with REACH and other relevant industry standards, in partnership with CSR.
* Oversee packaging and labelling compliance, meeting both internal and retail partner standards.
* Implement and uphold quality control standards across all production batches.
* Ensure all production meets compliance and sustainability guidelines across all markets.
Logistics & Coordination
* Coordinate weekly with the warehouse and factories to manage production intake and resolve logistical challenges around materials, trims, and finished goods.
* Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and production agreements.
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarising key production updates for the Product Director.
* Manage production meetings and drive effective communication between cross-functional teams.
* Support and complete ad hoc projects or tasks that contribute to operational excellence.
About you:

You’ll bring:
* 6+ years experience in footwear, accessories or apparel production, logistics, or supply chain.
* A strong understanding of end-to-end production processes, manufacturing timelines, and supplier management.
* Proven experience working with European and global suppliers.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a data-driven approach to tracking and reporting.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across all aspects of production.
* The ability to multitask, prioritise, and stay calm under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
* A collaborative mindset, you work well with cross-functional teams and contribute positively to shared goals.
* Flexibility and adaptability, embracing change as the business evolves.
* Willingness and ability to travel when required to visit suppliers and partners.
* A passion for developing and supporting others, acting as a mentor to members of the team.
Added bonus if you have:
* A working knowledge of Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese.
* Experience within a medium-to-high volume UK retail business.
