Job Title: Surveyors Assistant / Site Support Operative
Location: Positions available in Portsmouth, Isle of Wight, Guildford, Basildon, and Kingston upon Thames
Salary: GBP14.80 per hour (PAYE or PAYE Umbrella) + Mileage paid for travel
Job Type: 6:Month Contract (Immediate Start)
Hours: Monday : Friday, 8AM : 4PM (Optional weekend work available at the same rate)

We are seeking a Surveyors Assistant to provide vital on:site support to our lead Building Surveyors. No formal surveying qualifications are required for this role.

What You Will Be Doing:
You will be the vital right:hand support to the surveyor, helping them navigate and safely complete daily site surveys.

Carrying, setting up, and safely securing ladders on site.

Acting as the dedicated ladder man ensuring strict health and safety protocols are maintained at the base while the surveyor works at height.

Assisting the surveyor around the properties, clearing site access, and moving equipment.
*
Logistics: Meeting up with the lead surveyor in the morning and travelling together in the surveyors vehicle to various local sites (lift:sharing).
Who We Are Looking For:
This role is highly physical and requires you to be on your feet all day, so you must be in good health with no pre:existing conditions that limit manual labour.

Physical Backgrounds: Anyone with experience in gardening, handymen work, or fabric maintenance.

Active Sectors: Warehouse workers, telecoms/vending machine technicians, or retail staff (Tesco, Home base, M and S, etc.) who are used to being active and on their feet all day.
Requirements:

A valid CSCS Card

Good physical health and comfort working with ladders/heights.

Having your own car/transport is handy, though you will primarily be travelling in the surveyors vehicle during the day.

Right to work in the UK.
