Role and responsibilities
This is a supply chain-led, customer-facing role. You’ll lead a small team and sit between customers and the internal/external supply chain to keep delivery moving and issues under control.
You will:
* Manage a team of 3.
* Own the customer relationship and be the key escalation point.
* Drive delivery through internal and external supply chain.
* Run actions, risks, and recovery plans when plans change.
* Maintain strong orderbook control and contract review standards.
* Support wider, company-wide projects as the business grows.
Key requirements (qualifications and skills)
You must have:
* Team management experience (people leadership, coaching, performance, prioritisation)
* Experience in a Supply chain / customer delivery / account operations role.
* Strong stakeholder management — you can influence internal teams and handle customer pressure.
* Confidence managing escalations and delivery risk.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Helpful (but not essential):
* Project-driven, engineering experience.
* Contract / commercial awareness (scope, dates, risk).
