This Accounts Manager position offers real responsibility, autonomy and influence. As the Accounts Manager you will head up a substantial client portfolio while working closely with partners to support client strategy, team development and the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering accounting, tax and advisory services
* Reviewing and finalising statutory accounts, management accounts and tax computations
* Overseeing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT compliance
* Leading client meetings and acting as a key point of contact for ongoing advice and support
* Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and add value to client relationships
* Managing workflow across the team, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
* Reviewing work prepared by managers and senior staff prior to partner sign off
* Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of the accounts team
* Working closely with partners on business development and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience working within an accountancy practice ideally at manager level. You will bring strong technical knowledge across general practice services, excellent communication skills and a proactive, client focused mindset.
