An Interim Financial Accountant is sought for an initial temporary role for a thriving technology company based in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be a key part of the accounting and finance team, assisting with financial reporting and analysis. Initially a 4 month contract with view to extend and potentially long term.

Description
* Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
* Performing financial analysis to support decision making
* Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
* Working collaboratively with the accounting and finance team
* Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
* Supporting external audit processes
* Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects as required
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
