Your Role You’ll work alongside the Nursery Teacher to provide high-quality support in all areas of the EYFS curriculum. You’ll help create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow within clear routines and expectations. Your duties will include: Supporting learning through structured play and guided activities Encouraging language, social, and emotional development Assisting with phonics, early number work, and creative sessions Following routines for snack, toileting, and outdoor play Supporting behaviour management and positive reinforcement Contributing to observations and recording progress Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe learning environment The Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is: Experienced in EYFS or Nursery settings (school-based experience preferred) Confident, consistent, and proactive in managing routines and expectations Nurturing but firm, able to set clear boundaries Organised and reliable, with strong attention to detail Professional and adaptable, able to follow the school’s policies and ethos Committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 in Childcare/Education are desirable, but experience and attitude are equally valued.
