About the Role
As Admissions Manager you will lead the application processes for our Film & Games provision at BIMM University. This is a commercially focused role with responsibility for converting enquiries and applications through to successful enrolment. You will be accountable for achieving annual targets, managing performance, and ensuring a high-quality applicant experience.
What You’ll Do:
•Lead, manage and develop a team of Admissions Officers to deliver individual and departmental enrolment targets.
•Oversee the effective processing of all admissions activity including enquiries, assessments, applicant communication and record management.
•Produce regular reporting on admissions data and performance, highlighting trends or concerns to the Head of Admissions.
•Drive continuous improvement of processes to enhance the applicant journey.
•Lead operational planning and delivery around key admissions periods, including the UCAS equal consideration deadline and Clearing.
•Support wider recruitment and admissions activity, including open days, assessment days and enrolment.
•Ensure accuracy and compliance in the use of admissions databases and student records systems.
•Act as deputy for the Head of Admissions when required.
What You’ll Bring:
•Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
•Previous admissions experience within Higher Education.
•Strong working knowledge of admissions policies and procedures, including UCAS.
•Experience of consultative selling and a commercially focused approach.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Advanced IT competency, including Microsoft Office and student records systems.
•Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
•Flexible and adaptable approach, including availability to work during key recruitment periods (January and August).
