Due to continued growth, a successful manufacturer of plastic products and components is actively seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team
Working in a busy production environment, your role will be to maintain and repair Injection Moulding machinery, ancillary and plant equipment, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and production quotas are met.
***£35,000 - £40,000, Day shift Monday-Friday, Life Assurance, 33 days holiday***
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:
1. Ensuring that all plant and equipment are functioning correctly and optimised.
2. Dealing with breakdowns in a timely manner.
3. Planned preventative maintenance.
4. Identifying and implementing improvements with machinery and processes which will result in time/cost savings.
5. Ensure regulations and standards are adhered to.
6. Maintaining records, documentation and organisation of data.
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:
7. Hold an engineering qualification (ONC/HNC, BTEC, City & Guilds) or be a time served engineer.
8. Have 17th/18th Edition.
9. Have a solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical machinery and plastics manufacturing machinery (injection moulding, blow moulding or extrusion).
10. Possess good fault-finding abilities and resolving issues in a breakdown environment.
