Do you have proven experience in project management within an estates or property management environment? Do you have a strong understanding of healthcare-specific standards and construction-related legislation? Are you a natural problem solver motivated by getting results to improve patient care?
As an Estates Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a variety of estates projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specification. You will significantly contribute to the management of our Trust's multi-campus, multi-building estate and property portfolio, from project design to handover.
This is a part time post, with a level of flexibility around working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and prepare service user briefs, ensuring compliance with Healthcare specific standards (HTMs and HBNs).
2. Liaise with Estates Officers, external consultants, and other professionals for best value solutions.
3. Evaluate project feasibility spatially and budget-wise within agreed timeframes.
4. Manage relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Coordinate project commissioning, ensuring full acceptance and sign-off by relevant departments.
