Caretaker Grade 1 £24,027 pro rata 32 hours per week, Whole Time Permanent Required from 14th July 2025 The Governors of Leadgate Primary School are seeking to appoint a caretaker to join this wonderful school. This vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of our dedicated and valued caretaker. We are looking for someone with a great work ethic and a commitment to teamwork to take on this role and to join our school community. We wish to appoint someone who will take pride in caring for our school building and premises. The successful candidate will become part of a committed school team. We need someone who will thrive on continuing to make the school premises a safe and well-maintained place to learn and work for all of our pupils and staff. The successful applicant will be someone who meets our essential criteria (and desirable, if possible) as outlined in the person specification for this post. Annual leave to be taken in school closure periods. The current working hours for this role are 32 hours per week and the normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 6-9.15am and 3pm-5.45pm with additional 2 hours to be distributed across the week to complete any outstanding tasks.
