For the European HR Function, we are selecting a:
HR Specialist
Role Purpose
The role of the HR Specialist is to join our European HR team and collaborate closely with the HR Manager for the UK & Europe. The role's primary objective is to provide administrative and technical support for HR services for the commercial and operational staff across countries in Western Europe, Spain, and the UK. Assist the HR Manager in delivering projects and initiatives whilst ensuring compliance with local legislation and Head office policies and adhering to company deadlines and priorities.
What will you be responsible for?
Reporting to ITA Airways HR Manager UK & Europe based in London, you will:
* Prepare and execute payrolls, pensions insurance, administration and reports for Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium.
* Assist with the preparation and execution of the annual budget across the area.
* Prepare and manage documents and reports related to time and attendance, pay and benefits, and ad hoc reports as required.
* Assist the HR Manager in providing proactive and strategic guidance across the area related to all legal matters ensuring compliance. Focus on maximising legal protection and containing costs to support the Company objectives.
What are we looking for?
* The legal right to live and work in the UK.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Prior experience in Western European pay and benefits and employment law.
* A degree in Law or a related field.
* High levels of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
* High level of precision and attention to detail.
* Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal skills.
* Advanced proficiency in office software packages.
* Fluent Italian at a native level, and strong English language skills.
