Bricklaying Tutor – Alternative Provision Century Training Academy Location: Great Yarmouth Hours: Full-time – 4 days per week (with the potential to increase to 5) Salary: Dependent on experience Century Training Academy is seeking an experienced and motivated Bricklaying Tutor to join our Alternative Provision team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support and inspire young people through practical, skills-based learning in a supportive and structured environment. The Role: Deliver engaging, hands-on bricklaying sessions within an alternative provision setting Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of learners Support learners to develop practical skills, confidence, and employability Maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed workshop environment Work closely with staff to support learner progress, behaviour, and wellbeing Essential Requirements: Proven experience in bricklaying Teaching experience is essential (a teaching qualification is desirable but not essential) Experience working with learners in alternative provision or similar settings is an advantage Strong communication and behaviour management skills Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice What We Offer: A meaningful role making a real difference to young people’s lives Supportive and professional team environment at Century Training Academy Full-time hours over 4 days per week, with the potential for a 5th day Competitive salary dependent on experience Safeguarding: Century Training Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
