Sr Account Manager GenAI, EMEA GenAI Startups

We are seeking a sales manager with a proven track record in leading highly effective sales teams across multiple countries. You should have a passion for innovative startups and the latest technology trends, especially GenAI, machine learning (ML), and VR/AR. Your startup customers aim to become the next unicorns and future enterprises in Generative AI and advanced ML, intersecting with Fintech, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Mobility/Automotive, and Enterprise SaaS applications.

The ideal candidate is an autonomous sales manager with a hands-on builder mentality, strategic thinking, and a sense of urgency for team development and operational excellence. You will manage your own business, maintain C-level relationships, and deliver results by empowering your team to acquire new startup customers through strategic engagements and scaling initiatives. This role reports to the General Manager of EMEA Startups and is part of a cross-functional leadership team including Sales, Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Partners, Marketing, and others.

You should be a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, executing ambitious goals, and embracing the Amazon Day 1 Culture.


Key job responsibilities

1. Foster a positive culture that promotes diversity, inclusion, equity, and high performance.
2. Ensure customer satisfaction through value creation.
3. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to accelerate customer adoption and increase market share.
4. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals.
5. Identify, measure, and improve key KPIs to maintain a robust business operation.
6. Act as an executive sponsor in key accounts.
7. Represent the company at professional events.
