Full-time / Part-time opportunities available
Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing early years setting in Garstang, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner / Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting early childhood development and creating a positive, engaging learning environment.


Responsibilities

* Supporting children aged 0–5 within a nursery or EYFS setting
* Assisting the class teacher or room leader with daily activities and routines
* Encouraging learning through play and structured activities
* Promoting a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
* Supporting children’s social, emotional and developmental needs
* Observing and reporting on children’s progress where required


Qualifications & Experience

* Have previous experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, or primary school setting
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for early years education
* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable
* Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
* A Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification is desirable, but not essential for candidates with relevant experience
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are advantageous
