AV Engineer / Technician - Prime & Super Prime Residential
New York City & Surrounding Areas | $75,000-$110,000 base + overtime
Are you an experienced residential AV Engineer who enjoys working on exceptional homes, complex systems, and high expectations?
We're working with a well established high end residential AV integrator delivering some of the most impressive private residences in New York and along the East Coast. These are multi million dollar homes, bespoke systems, and clients who expect a white glove service.
This is not entry level or repetitive residential work. The standards are high, the projects are varied, and the work is taken seriously.
The role
You'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, and supporting luxury residential AV systems across high end apartments, townhouses, MDUs, and selected marine projects. You will be client facing on site and trusted to represent the business in premium environments.
Projects you'll work on:
Whole home AV and automation systems
Control systems such as Control4, Crestron, Lutron or Savant
Home cinemas and dedicated media rooms
Lighting control and shading systems
High end networking and WiFi
Selected yacht and marine AV projects
What they're looking for:
Proven experience in high end residential AV
Strong installation, commissioning, and fault finding skills
Comfortable working within luxury residential environments
Professional communication and a client focused approach
Control system experience strongly preferred
MDU or marine AV experience beneficial but not essential
