The school is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking to thrive in a supportive, dynamic environment.
The Role:
As an English Teacher, you will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for literature and language while helping develop essential reading, writing, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to students' needs
* Provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
* Encourage participation in extracurricular activities such as writing clubs and competitions
* Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and innovative teaching approaches
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold its core values
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
* Experience teaching English in a secondary school environment
* Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for English
* Creative and student-centred teaching approach
* Effective classroom management skills and a proactive mindset
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
