The Governors are looking to appoint an outstanding Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about making a difference and helping to improve the learning opportunities for our children. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team which is ambitious for the success of all, where children have positive attitudes and a love of learning and where staff are valued and well supported by parents and governors. You will be working within one of our Inclusion Hubs.
Salary: Grade 3
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)

Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
* Providing support to pupils to achieve learning goals e.g. leading phonic sessions.
* Providing support to pupils with SEND - based in our Inclusion Hub working with children who have a range of complex needs.
* Assisting the teacher with the planning of learning activities.
* Assisting in maintaining classroom discipline through the implementation of the schools behaviour management strategies.
* Assisting with the day-to-day routines of a classroom including the preparation of resources.
* Assisting the teacher in monitoring pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately recording achievement/progress as directed.
* Visits to the school are welcomed in September.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Your ability to work as part of a very enthusiastic team.
* Experience of working with children with SEND.
* Commitment, flexibility and energy.
* Excellent behaviour management skills.
* A knowledge of the EYFS/ Key Stage 1 & 2 National Curriculum and assessment.
* EYFS Qualification is desirable.
* Willing to undertake suitable training for your own professional development.
* Happy to support the ethos of the school.
