A role with breadth, autonomy, and visibility – for those ready to lead.
You’ve built a solid track record in category management. You understand how to shape commercial strategy through data, and how to influence retailers with confidence and clarity. At this stage in your career, you’re looking for more than a routine category role. You’re looking for ownership – and the opportunity to drive real impact across major markets.
This is a high-responsibility position within a globally recognised consumer brand, known for its commercial sharpness and operational agility. You’ll be given end-to-end responsibility for the UK&I and Nordics category agenda – from insight generation to in-store execution – working closely with retailers, internal teams, and agency partners.
Your responsibilities:
* Lead the full category management cycle: insights, strategy, range, space, execution, and review
* Translate data from Nielsen, Kantar, and Circana into clear, compelling recommendations
* Build and manage planograms and space optimisation projects
* Act as the primary retail-facing category contact for key UK and Nordic customers
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and external partners
* Manage budgets, suppliers, and timelines for fixture and data-related projects
* Drive SBD and SWS principles into the long-term strategy
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has 5+ years’ experience in FMCG category or shopper insight (non-food sector preferred)
* Brings a confident, commercially aware approach to retail engagement
* Can lead conversations with UK retailers and shape joint business thinking
* Combines analytical rigour with strong communication and influencing skills
* Is familiar with category tools (e.g. Nielsen, JDA/NexGen, Excel)
* Operates comfortably in a lean, high-autonomy environment
* Is based within commutable distance of Richmond or open to regular office presence
What’s on offer:
* The opportunity to work on a high-profile brand with broad category ownership
* A dynamic, non-corporate structure that encourages initiative and leadership
* A team culture that values clarity, independence, and impact
