The role:
Our client is seeking a qualified Team Lawyer to join their Legal Services team, specialising in Children’s Social Care law. You’ll advise and represent our client in legal proceedings including care proceedings, safeguarding orders, and adoption. Experience in Adult Social Care or Health law is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of children’s social care legal matters
2. Provide legal advice to internal and external stakeholders
3. Advocate in court and other statutory hearings
4. Draft legal documentation and supervise junior staff

1. Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive
2. Post-qualification experience in care proceedings and advocacy
3. Strong knowledge of public sector legal work
4. Ability to manage complex cases with minimal supervision
