The Role We have a brand-new opportunity for a Level 3 Apprentice Civil Engineer, to join our team, supporting an exciting project for HS2, based in Southam. Here are some of the activities you’ll get involved with… Assist senior engineers with design, planning and technical tasks across projects. Support the preparation and updating of technical drawings, models and specifications. Help collect, record and analyse technical data to support engineering decisions. Participate in site visits, inspections, surveys, or testing activities under supervision. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, calculations and documentation. Learn to use industry-standard engineering software, tools and systems. Support the coordination of engineering activities with other teams and disciplines. Follow health, safety, environmental and quality procedures. Assist with identifying risks, issues, or improvement opportunities on projects. Maintain accurate records in line with project and company requirements. Apply relevant engineering standards, codes and best practices. What you need… A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C/4 and above, including Mathematics & English Language, or an equivalent qualification such as a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Construction or Engineering at Merit or Distinction. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A full and valid driving licence. In return, we will offer you Support will be provided throughout this 40 month apprenticeship, to help you achieve a fully funded Level 3 recognised Civil Engineering Technician qualification. Upon successful completion of your Level 3 qualification, you will have the opportunity to continue achieving qualifications and eventually becoming chartered.
