They will contribute to the development of house views, support training and knowledge-sharing across the team, and ensure that modelling outputs are robust, credible, and aligned with regulatory objectives. This is a role requiring strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

The role criteria

Ideally a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (or equivalent experience).
* Regulatory knowledge: In-depth understanding of UK pensions legislation, The Pensions Regulator's codes and guidance, and the broader legal and regulatory framework.
* Analytical and strategic thinking: Ability to apply professional judgement to complex investment scenarios, including modelling, policy development, and risk assessment.
* Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex investment matters clearly to varied audiences.
* Stakeholder engagement: Experience in advising and influencing trustees, employers, and internal teams, including presenting at meetings and providing training.
* Technical proficiency: Working knowledge of Excel and proficiency in standard office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
