Quality Assurance ManagerCambridgeDays£40,000***Additional Hours If Required***We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business with over 100 years of heritage. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the site's Quality Management System while driving a strong food safety and quality culture across the business.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA professional looking to take ownership of food safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement activities within a growing and supportive organisation. The company is committed to employee development and offers ongoing training and career progression opportunities.Role Description:Lead and develop the QA and Hygiene teams, promoting a positive food safety and quality cultureMaintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with BRCGS and customer requirementsManage HACCP, GMP, pest control, hygiene, and product testing programmesConduct internal audits and support external audits and customer visitsInvestigate non-conformances and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actionsMonitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the siteEnsure product traceability systems are maintained and recall readiness is upheldDeliver compliance and food safety training across the businessSupport the Technical Manager with technical projects, specifications, and site compliance activitiesPromote customer requirements and quality standards throughout the organisationSkills & Qualifications:Minimum 3 years' experience within a Quality role, including team leadership responsibilitiesHACCP Level 3 qualification (minimum)Internal auditing experienceStrong knowledge of food safety, GMP, hygiene, and pest control programmesExperience working within BRCGS accredited environments desirableMilling or food manufacturing experience advantageousStrong communication, organisation, and people management skillsAbility to analyse data, generate reports, and manage multiple priorities effectivelyFull UK driving licenceIn Return:25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysPension scheme and Life AssuranceOngoing training and development opportunitiesFree on-site parkingOpportunity to join an Investors in People accredited business focused on employee growth and developmentIf you are an experienced Quality professional looking for your next challenge within a secure and growing food manufacturing business, please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.TPBN1_UKTJ
