We’re seeking a proactive and well-organised MDT Assistant to support the smooth coordination of multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to high-quality learner support across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone with experience in education, SEND support, or care environments who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. MDT Coordination & Administration
* Organise and support regular MDT meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and distributing minutes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date shared documentation to ensure seamless, collaborative care.
* Ensure internal colleagues and external professionals have appropriate access to information, following safeguarding and data-protection requirements.
* Track action points from meetings and follow up to ensure timely completion.
2. Learner Support & Monitoring
* Collect and collate learner information from teaching teams, support staff, and external agencies to inform decision-making.
* Assist in monitoring SEND, wellbeing, and safeguarding support plans through effective cross-departmental communication.
* Provide occasional 1:1 or small-group learning support, in line with FE teaching assistant responsibilities.
Desirable Qualifications & Skills
* Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification.
* Knowledge of SEND legislation, including EHCP processes.
* Understanding of integrated care or MDT models across education, health, or social care.
* Experience using MIS platforms or safeguarding systems.
