About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them to engage with learning and develop key skills.
* Work with students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and adapting resources to meet individual needs.
* Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour within the classroom.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, supporting their academic and emotional development.
* Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Patient, caring, and resilient, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
* A good communicator who can build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* Experienced in working with children or young people – experience in SEN or SEMH settings is highly desirable.
* In possession of (or willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or implementing learning interventions.
