Do you wish to become a fully qualified Administration Support Worker?
Adult Social Work are recruiting for a Modern Apprentice to join their Administration Support team. The Modern Apprentice will learn how to provide all aspects of administration support within legislation and SIC policies and guidelines. This includes reception duties, archiving, operation of financial systems, and daily admin tasks supporting service delivery. Support will be provided to study in the workplace and via Shetland College, enabling the successful candidate to fully understand their role and gain a Scottish Vocational Qualification in administration.
The Modern Apprentice will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required to meet service needs.

* The grade of this post is SLGLW / AB.
* The salary includes a Distant Islands Allowance of £2,859 per annum (pro-rata).
* Temporary full-time post for 37 hours per week, 52.18 weeks per year.
* Contract duration is approximately 2 years.
* No relocation package is available.
* Interview expenses will be paid from within Shetland.
* Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
