Waking Night Support Worker

Hours: Full time position available
Shift times: 8pm - 8am (Tuesday and Saturday)
Sleeps are Included
Holidays: 33 days per year (pro rata)
Full Clean driving licence required for this role!
We are currently recruiting an empathetic and dedicated Support Worker to provide care and support to a 30-year-old loving, caring, non-verbal gentleman with Autism and epilepsy.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving the individual's quality of life, promoting independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. The role also involves offering companionship, facilitating community engagement, and supporting independence. An understanding of epilepsy and autism is essential.
This position involves supporting the individual in pursuing his interests, including:
* Mr Bean
* Marvel
* Harry Potter
* Scooby Doo
* Looney Toons
Another passion is travelling in his own mobility car and visiting mum and stepdad on a fortnightly basis. He also enjoys long driving adventures ending in a teatime treat at McDonald's.
Experience with Autism and epilepsy is essential for this role.
