Job summary
An exciting opportunity is available for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work in Occupational Health at Sheffield Teaching Hospital Trust.
This role will provide expert Occupational Therapy clinical assessment helping employees return or remain at work.
Main duties of the job
The post will involve working cross site, completing work site visits and managing a caseload of employees, enabling them to fulfil their functional potential.
You will also be responsible for the development, facilitation and evaluation of this specialist role within the MDT of the Sheffield Occupational Health Service.

Qualifications
* BSc in Occupational Therapy
* Current HCPC Registration
* Postgraduate Masters level module in relevant subject to this post or equivalent knowledge and skills accumulated through formal training and experiential learning
* Qualified to carry out standardized Functional Capacity Evaluations
* Desirable: Master\'s degree in relevant Specialty
Experience
* Extensive experience as a qualified therapist
* Significant experience at Specialist level in relevant specialty
* Experience of working within the Occupational Health setting
* Clinical Educator
* Participation in Clinical Audit & Practice Development
* Supervision and line management of Therapy staff including appraisal
* Professional Presentations
* Report writing
* Desirable: Member of Special Interest Group
* Governance

* Experience of working within a Vocational Rehabilitation service
* Experience of developing proposals for new services
Further Training
