FULLY FUNDED TRAINING
The company provides a fully funded skills bootcamp to give you the skills needed to work as a Trainee Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant / LSA / Classroom Assistant / Learning Support Worker .
To be successfully selected for this training course you will need to meet the following criteria:
Be aged 19 or over and live in Preston or surrounding areas
Not be in full-time education
Have an interest in working with children and supporting learning
Be available to attend two days per week for nine weeks
Be able to gain a clear DBS
TEACHING ASSISTANT TRAINING BOOTCAMP
Learning Support Assistant / LSA / Classroom Assistant / Learning Support Worker
The Teaching Assistant Training Bootcamp is an inspiring and practical way to develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge you need to support children in schools.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a training programme, not a paid role during the course. There is no wage during the Bootcamp itself.
The training course is also fully funded and will not cost you a penny.
The company work with local schools and can arrange interviews for learners who complete the programme, helping you take the next step into employment.
WHAT YOULL LEARN
Communicating effectively with children, young people, and adults
Understanding safeguarding, confidentiality, and child development
School roles, policies, values, and structures
Supporting wellbeing, inclusion, and SEND needs
Practical CV writing, job applications, and mock interviews
Preparing and delivering your own microteaching session
Personal Development Planning and Reflective Practice
WHATS INCLUDED
Face-to-face group training twice a week in a supportive environment
Guidance on DBS applications and access to volunteering / school placement links
CV workshops, job application support, and interview practice
Arranged interviews with local schools (subject to employer availability)
A learner workbook and portfolio to showcase your learning
