Overview
The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost effective management of the warehouse operations. It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation and enable the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.
Responsibilities
* You will ensure that the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods are performed correctly to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
What you will need
* Working knowledge of the Warehouse function within the FMCG distribution industry, with familiarity with the business and operational aspects of supervising a depot Warehouse operation.
* General knowledge of the Transport function is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train colleagues as you lead a team of warehouse operatives.
* Strong computer skills, with daily use of the MS Office suite for reporting and formal disciplinary processes.
