Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is looking to recruit a Hotel Engineering Technician to join the team.
The Building Technician role:
As a Building Technician, you will support the Engineering Department in maintaining the highest standards of safety and functionality throughout the hotel. This role involves carrying out high-quality repairs efficiently and safely in both guest areas and back of house. You will work on equipment, fixtures, fittings, and plant systems as required, ensuring everything operates smoothly for our guests and team.
What you will do:
1. Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across guest rooms and back-of-house areas.
2. Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment, fixtures, and fittings.
3. Assist with preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
4. Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
5. Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests.
6. Collaborate with the Engineering team on larger projects and upgrades.
What you bring:
7. Candidates will ideally be qualified in a trade e.g. mechanical, electrical, plumbing
8. Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, ideally within hospitality.
9. Strong technical skills and ability to carry out repairs to a high standard.
10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
11. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and commitment to quality.
12. All candidates must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Schedule and Hours:
This position follows a 4-on, 4-off rotation, with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Flexibility is essential, as shifts will include weekdays and weekends.
