Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing technology projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Execution:
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
* Team Management:
* Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
* Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, monitoring progress and providing support as needed.
* Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
* Stakeholder Communication:
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
* Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key milestones and achievements.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project deliverables meet their requirements.
* Quality Assurance:
* Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify and address any deviations from project plans.
* Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery.
* Risk Management:
* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
* Escalate critical issues to senior management as necessary.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology-driven environment.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
* PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
