We are looking for an individual passionate about working in an organization that supports autistic children and adults on the spectrum to live the lives they choose.
This role is based at our Robert Ogden School. The main responsibility will be to support pupils during the day.
Your qualities include:
* Patience, inspiration, caring, and sensitivity towards vulnerable people
* Good listening skills, ability to report and record information accurately
* Team player and capable of working independently with minimal support
* Resilient, able to work proactively with challenging behavior
* Willing and able to provide personal care as needed
* Valuing diversity, health and safety, and committed to safe working practices
You may also have:
* A personal connection to autism or a desire to work with autistic individuals
* Experience supporting autistic adults or children, paid or voluntary
