We're looking for an experienced Road Freight Coordinator to join a busy traffic office in Coventry, planning FTL and LTL movements on the UK-Ireland lane.
This is a hands-on role for someone who's used to working in a fast-paced road freight environment, managing 40ft articulated vehicles, dealing directly with drivers and customers, and keeping trucks moving.
What You'll Be Doing
Planning and controlling FTL & LTL road freight movements
Issuing instructions to drivers and managing day-to-day operational issues
Monitoring loads, timings, delays, and exceptions
Updating customers on collection and delivery status
Administration of PODs and job pricing.
What You Need
Minimum 2 years' experience as a road freight Coordinator
Experience planning 40ft artic vehicles
Nice to Have
Experience on the UK-Ireland lane
Basic understanding of customs processesExperience with temperature-controlled or pharma freight
