Location: Office Based - Stone
Hours: 24 hours per Week - 3 days

Your Role
As our Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fostering operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to our office team, including:
o Maintaining electronic and paper files
o Managing databases
o Crafting professional emails and letters
o Processing incoming and outgoing post
o Photocopying and producing brochures/standard forms
o Taking messages and signposting
o Managing petty cash and processing invoices/expenses
o Organizing meetings
* Supporting the social work team with data collection, recording, filing, and auditing
* Welcoming visitors and building supportive relationships with foster parents
* Liaising with Local Authority social workers
* Taking minutes for monthly meetings and distributing them to relevant personnel
* Conducting statutory checks and references for prospective foster parents
* Maintaining accurate databases/registers of referrals and children placed
* Ensuring the smooth running of the office premises
* Ordering stationery and managing office equipment
* Attending regular team meetings and representing Orange Grove positively
* Utilizing supervision to enhance personal and team development
What We’re Looking For
* GCSE educated with grades A-C in Mathematics and English
* Proficient in Databases and Microsoft Office Suite (skills will be tested during the interview)
* Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a child-centered or caring environment
* Proven ability to take accurate minutes
* Strong planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Conflict management skills with a solution-focused approach
* Ability to work autonomously and contribute to team dynamics
* Professionalism and diplomacy in representing Orange Grove Fostercare
Interviews may be conducted via Microsoft Teams or in person at our Stone office. The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS Check, with costs covered by Orange Grove.
