Our client operates a well-established, privately owned day nursery set within a beautifully restored listed building, full of character and history. Surrounded by spacious grounds, the nursery offers a warm, welcoming environment where children can thrive. At their OFSTED-rated 'Outstanding' nursery, they are passionate about preparing children for a bright future. The primary focus is to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need for life readiness, while introducing exciting concepts that will set them up for a smooth and successful transition to Reception. Nursery Practitioner job details: * £28.000 - £31,000 per annum depending on experience & qualifications * 42 hours contracted per week across 4 days - 1 day off every week! * Open Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm, 51 weeks per year Nursery Practitioner Main Duties: * Provide outstanding care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years in a fun, stimulating environment. * Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s development in line with EYFS. * Observe and track children’s progress, celebrating their milestones and achievements. * Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. * Be a role model for positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional growth. * Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times. * Tailor activities to meet each child's individual needs and learning style. * Maintain a clean, organised nursery room, ready for each day’s adventures. * Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development. * Work collaboratively with other Nursery Practitioners and Senior staff to create a fun, supportive environment for both children and staff.
