GSL Education are seeking organised and dedicated Exam Invigilator to join school in Ashington. In this vital position, you will ensure that examinations run smoothly, safely, and in line with official guidelines.
Key Responsibilities of an Exam Invigilator:
* Maintain the integrity of the examination process by following strict procedures.
* Prepare exam rooms, distribute materials, and ensure all conditions meet awarding body standards.
* Supervise pupils during exams, maintaining a calm and focused atmosphere.
* Provide clear instructions, manage timing, and enforce all exam regulations.
* Assist with the collection and secure handling of completed exam papers.
Job Requirements for Exam Invigilator:
* Experience in a school or supervisory role is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
