Job Description
Salary: £48,557 - £57,704, dependent on experience, including a basic salary and skills payment. Plus, a one-off recruitment bonus of £3,500 (£1,750 on arrival and £1,750 after successful probation). An increased skills payment of up to £19,113 is available after a skills assessment.

The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will solve mission-critical problems, contribute to system architecture, establish best practices, and deliver high-quality software. You’ll operate at a deep technical level, using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C++, Node, Python, Rust, Go, and .NET.
You will also share innovative techniques, lead or mentor teams, and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, positively influencing the engineering community.
About You
You possess knowledge of modern languages and frameworks like C++, Golang, Java, JavaScript, .NET, Node, Python, Rust, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience leading Agile teams and evaluating customer requirements is essential. You are self-motivated, strategic, and an effective communicator.
We welcome professionals from related fields such as cloud engineering, security, UX, site reliability, architecture, data engineering, or machine learning. You thrive in innovative environments, establishing best practices, mentoring, and staying updated on emerging technologies.
Training and Development
We support your growth, offering resources like online courses, conferences, mentoring, and funding for formal qualifications. You can dedicate up to 30% of your time to development, with access to tailored learning paths and clear career progression.
Potential training includes AWS certifications, SCRUM Master, Microservices, Linux, UX, and more, through platforms like Cloud Academy, Pluralsight, or O'Reilly.
