Assistant planner

Assistant Planner
Assistant Planner required for an established Enabling Works Contractor. Planner will be involved in delivering complex demolition, structural alterations, temporary works, groundworks and site preparation packages for major developers and main contractors. This role reports in to a Senior Planner.
The Planner will play a key role in developing, monitoring and updating project programmes from tender through to delivery. Planner will support project teams to ensure works are planned effectively, risks are identified early, and sequencing is optimised for productivity and safety on busy, constrained urban sites.
Planners will be based out of the Central London Head Office.
Assistant Planner Key Skills
Develop tender and construction programmes using Asta Powerproject
Prepare short-term and detailed lookahead programmes in line with project requirements
Review contract documentation, including NEC and JCT forms, to ensure programme compliance and contractual obligations are met
Identify programme risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies

Assistant Planner - Experience Strong proficiency in Asta Powerproject (essential)
Working knowledge of NEC and JCT contract programming requirements
Excellent understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and temporary works principles
Ability to interpret technical drawings, BIM models and design information
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Proactive, collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment
