We have an opportunity for a Caretaker to join our fantastic facilities team on a 6-month fixed term contract.
About the role
In this role, you will provide high quality caretaking services, ensuring our neighbourhoods are well maintained and they provide a safe domestic environment for our customers. You will conduct regular inspections of communal areas in our blocks of flats and surrounding neighbourhoods, perform minor repairs, and carrying out cleaning tasks to ensure all spaces are tidy, safe, and compliant with Health and Safety standards.
What we're looking for
This is a varied and challenging role, which requires commitment, great customer service and strong communication skills. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative, managing your time efficiently, and maintaining a proactive approach to your daily tasks. A thorough understanding of safe working practices is essential.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Caretaker to join our team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing our facilities. You should have hands-on experience in caretaking, as well as skills in repairs and general maintenance. Familiarity with estate inspections and compliance checks is also essential, as these will form a key part of your responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to make a positive impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Applicants must hold a full valid manual UK driving licence as you will be provided with a company van for work use only.
