Job Opportunity: Head Veterinary Nurse
Location: Clapham Veterinary Clinic
As the Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in our clinic's operations. You'll lead a dynamic team of veterinary nurses, ensuring seamless operations and the highest standards of care for our patients and their owners.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate our veterinary nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
* Collaborate closely with veterinarians during medical procedures and surgeries, providing crucial support and assistance.
* Extend compassionate care and support to pets and their owners, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
* Skillfully administer medications and treatments, always under the guidance of our veterinary team.
* Facilitate diagnostic procedures while maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
* Uphold our clinic's standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every client interaction exceeds expectations.
Requirements:
* Essential qualification as a registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine passion for animal care.
* Proven ability to lead and work effectively within a team, as well as autonomously.
* Dedication to continuous professional development, staying abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary care.
Salary and Benefits:
* Competitive starting salary: £39,000 to £40,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
* £500 allocated for continued professional development (CPD) opportunities.
