Role Description
You will be working alongside our Superintendent Pharmacist predominantly as a second Pharmacist but will be encouraged and supported to develop this role in both Clinical and Managerial areas and take on more responsibility as you wish.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located at Luxtons Pharmacy the Greater Exeter Area. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications accurately, providing professional healthcare advice, and counseling patients on the safe use of medications.
The role involves advising on minor health issues, managing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain inventory control within the pharmacy.
We offer a wide range of extended role both private and NHS such as Flu and Covid vaccinations and a busy Travel and Weight service and you will assist in the delivery of these

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations, prescription dispensing, and medication and NHS services
Ability to provide professional advice, patient counselling, and manage minor ailments with a customer-focused approach
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills to collaborate with both staff and healthcare professionals
Proven ability to manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and provide operational support
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy
Pharmacy registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Ideally an have an Independent Prescribing Qualification or be keen to develop your prescribing skills
Some previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is a must have but we are looking to help you develop and expand your horizons and passion and drive are equally important
