This role exists because strong concepts only matter if they can be built properly.
The studio is producing high-quality retail and spatial work, but as projects move toward delivery, the pressure shifts. Ideas need to be resolved, coordinated, and translated into drawing packages that actually work on site. Right now, that responsibility is spread too thinly.
This hire brings clarity and ownership to that stage.
You would take responsibility for detailed design resolution and drawing packages, ensuring that concepts are translated into precise, buildable outputs. Not as a support function, but as a core part of the delivery process.
This is where ideas meet reality.
You’ll be developing and resolving spatial and architectural elements, producing high-quality technical drawings, and working closely with creative teams to make sure intent is carried through accurately. Alongside that, you’ll coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure everything is aligned and deliverable.
In the first few months, success looks like producing clear, coordinated drawing packages that reduce back-and-forth and move projects forward confidently.
Over time, you become the person people rely on to sense-check, resolve, and elevate technical output, ensuring work stands up on site as well as it does on screen.
This role suits someone who takes pride in precision and build quality. Someone who enjoys solving real-world design problems and understands how to bridge the gap between concept and delivery. Strong spatial awareness and technical understanding of interiors are essential.
It won’t suit everyone.
If you prefer early-stage concept work without the responsibility of delivery, this will feel restrictive.
If attention to detail isn’t something you naturally lean into, this role will expose it quickly.
And if you’re uncomfortable being accountable for how work gets built, not just how it looks, this isn’t the right fit.
What matters here is reliability and accuracy. Strong Vectorworks capability is essential, along with proven experience delivering technical drawing packages that are genuinely buildable.
What makes the role attractive for the right person is the impact. You’re not just producing drawings. You’re making sure ideas actually work in the real world, with real responsibility and visibility across projects.
If you enjoy being the person who makes design hold together under pressure, it’s worth a conversation.
