ServiceNow Platform Engineer (Contract)

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Platform Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team, working on the build and enhancement of enterprise ServiceNow solutions within a complex digital environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on development, shaping technical solutions, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver real business impact.
What You'll Be Doing
* Building and enhancing ServiceNow applications and workflows to meet evolving business needs
* Translating requirements into robust technical designs and scalable solutions
* Developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and modern web technologies
* Supporting testing activities, including UAT and defect resolution
* Working collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Maintaining high-quality documentation and coding standards
* Identifying opportunities for platform improvement and optimisation
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience working on the ServiceNow platform in a technical capacity
* Hands-on expertise in scripting, configuration, and platform development
* Experience with modules such as GRC, IRM, or SPM
* Good knowledge of JavaScript, APIs (REST/SOAP), XML, and JSON
* Understanding of structured delivery approaches such as Agile or Waterfall
* Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
Nice to Have
* ServiceNow certifications (e.g. CSA, CAD, CIS)
* Experience working in consulting or customer-facing environments
* Exposure to solution design or technical leadership activities
