The Role
As Home Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care while maintaining commercial performance and regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong, visible leadership across all areas of the home
* Ensure outstanding person‑centred care is delivered consistently
* Drive compliance in line with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
* Lead, develop and inspire multidisciplinary teams
* Maintain high occupancy levels and manage budgets effectively
* Foster positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders
* Oversee recruitment, retention, and staff development initiatives
* Promote a culture of dignity, respect, compassion, and continuous improvement
* Manage safeguarding, clinical governance, and risk management processes
* Deliver strong operational performance alongside exceptional resident outcomes
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Home Manager within elderly residential or nursing care
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards
* Demonstrable leadership and team management experience
* Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and occupancy
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
