Finance Manager / Financial Controller – Glasgow - £55,000–£65,000
I’m working with a growing business that’s at a genuinely interesting stage of its journey, and they’re looking to bring in a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join the leadership team.
This isn’t a role where you’ll just be producing numbers. It’s for someone who wants to understand what’s really driving performance, challenge it, and help shape how the business moves forward.
📊 You’ll be taking ownership of the finance function in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where there’s a lot going on and plenty of opportunity to make an impact. The role is hands-on, but with clear visibility at senior level, working closely with the Managing Director and supporting broader decision-making.
📈 A big part of the position is around interpretation and insight. Looking at performance, understanding what’s changed and why, and being able to communicate that in a way that actually helps the business take action.
⚙️ There’s also a strong focus on improving how things are done — reporting, processes and visibility of data — all areas where someone with the right mindset can really add value.
👥 They’re looking for someone who is comfortable in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with detail but can also step back and see the bigger picture, and has the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business.
