Production Planner
Location: Twickenham, London
Salary: £40,000 £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
An established engineering organisation based in Twickenham is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join its production team. This Production Planner role is critical to ensuring effective planning of the shop floor, aligning materials, capacity, and operational plans to meet customer requirements.
The successful Production Planner will bring a strong background in manufacturing planning and will play a key role in developing and improving planning processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Planner looking to take ownership of production planning activities within a complex engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities Production Planner
1. Act as a central Production Planner within the production team, ensuring materials are available at the right time to support manufacturing schedules
2. Prioritise materials and production issues across Goods In, Stores, Dispatch, Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations
3. Liaise closely with Purchasing to manage material availability and quality of supply
4. Raise, manage, and control Works Orders in line with MRP requirements
5. Review, assess, and action MRP exception messages
