£14.64 per hour, weekly pay, every Friday
Schedule :
Monday to Friday, 12:00 -22:00, 30 min unpaid break
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Operator to join our successful client based in the Barking, IG11 area. Our client is a Local Recycling Centre & Collection Points for residents.
Mobile Plant Operator - Duties & Responsibilities
As a Mobile Plant Operator / Shovel, & 360 Grab Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating a, Loading Shovel & 360 Grab Material Handler. Loading curtain side lorries with Teletruck & loading of articulated lorries with a loading shovel
The main focus of an operator is to be responsible in safely and efficiently operating and monitoring machinery during process operations, along with ensuring finished goods are taken off and stored safely and securely in the warehouse. To control traffic management within the tipping hall, to operate mobile plant within the area, to inspect/sort loads/waste upon reception and ensure the working area is kept clean at all times.
Place materials in correct location and take material samples when required
Carry out operator duties regarding machine running for optimum performance and availability.
Collect waste material from the process lines and load them into skips or vehicles
Operate static and mobile plant in the loading of bulk waste vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
Loading of articulated lorries with loading shovel
Ensure all weighbridge transactions are accurately recorded utilising the electronic audit system or manually in the event of system failure.
Mobile Plant Operator - Person Specification
Loading Shovel, & 360 are essential (in-house training honoured)
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
