Head of Account Management – UK Mail (Evri Group) Location: Coventry (hybrid with national travel) Salary: Highly Competitive Basic Benefits PackageReports to: Managing Director, UK MailTeam: 8 (5 Key Account Managers, 1 Senior Account Manager, 2 Account Managers) About the Role We are looking for an experienced and commercially-focused Head of Account Management to lead and develop our national Account Management team within UK Mail. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving retention, deepening strategic customer relationships and growing multimillion-pound contracts with some of the UK’s largest organisations, including major financial institutions. You’ll bring a fresh, innovative viewpoint and a naturally curious mindset - someone who asks great questions, challenges constructively, and spots opportunities others may miss. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and exceptional relationship management. What You’ll Do Lead, coach and develop an 8-person Account Management team to deliver a high-performance culture Own and deliver the customer development strategy for UK Mail Build deep, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders across large, complex organisations Retain and grow multimillion-pound contracts through exceptional service, strong commercial understanding and proactive account planning Develop compelling commercial proposals, leveraging strong financial and operational insight Negotiate multi-year contracts with major corporate postal users Oversee tender responses and renewals to secure long-term customer commitments Drive profitability within existing accounts by improving efficiency and service quality Act as a key partner to operational, commercial, finance and product teams Use customer insight and market intelligence to influence product development and commercial strategy Sponsor several strategic customer relationships at senior level What We’re Looking For Background & Experience Proven experience managing large, complex corporate accounts Strong track record of team leadership, coaching and building capability Service-industry background preferred (e.g., logistics, financial services, B2B service providers) Experience working with major financial institutions highly desirable Skilled in creating and negotiating high-value commercial proposals Strong understanding of commercial drivers, profitability and operational performance Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments Skills & Behaviours Exceptional relationship builder with executive-level presence Commercially astute with excellent analytical and negotiation skills Curious, inquisitive and innovative – someone who brings new ideas and challenges thinking Confident communicator with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Able to influence internally and externally at all levels Proactive, autonomous and adaptable with strong problem-solving ability Qualifications Degree-level education or equivalent commercial experience Full UK driving licence (regular travel required) What’s in It for You?
