Energy Company Obligation PAS Accreditation Body Audits
PAS 2030 accreditation body audits are conducted by UKAS-accredited certification bodies to verify installer compliance with the PAS 2030 standard for energy efficiency measures. These audits include an initial assessment of an installer’s Quality Management System (QMS) and installation practices, followed by annual surveillance audits to ensure ongoing compliance. The audits are designed to reassure customers and government initiatives that installations meet quality standards and address risk issues like defects or performance problems. Currently we work with IAA and British Assessment Bureau.
Initial Audit
The certification body conducts a comprehensive audit reviewing the installers’ documented QMS, training records, install procedures and sub-contractors. Comprehensive and accurate record keeping is a large part of this role.
Onsite Inspection
Each measure is inspected either pre, mid, or post install to verify practices used align with PAS2030 standard. Clear storing of installation practices and operative competence must be current. If above meet requirements a PAS certificate will be issued to cover the work installed. Annual audits are performed, and some random inspections may take place. Time management is critical to meet required deadlines.
