Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and organisation of our hotel premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in hospitality or janitorial services. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery. Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to uphold organisational standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet company policies. Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary. Develop work schedules for housekeeping team members, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Address guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for high levels of guest satisfaction. Enforce health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations across the property. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is essential. Prior janitorial experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by hotel operations.
